MarilynFilms.com is Independent Filmmaking’s Showcase Platform, showcasing independently made films that convey a passion for filmmaking. The platform provides not only a means for independent filmmakers to showcase their films, but also a means to monetize from them, thus encouraging the filmmakers to continue to pursue and hone their filmmaking craft.

“This moment, launching MarilynFilms.com, is a culmination of all I have worked to accomplish in filmmaking in the last six years in that the films I have made can now be connected with a specific audience via this platform. And not just my films, but those of other independent filmmakers as well,” says Zandir Santos, filmmaker and founder of MarilynFilms.com. He continues, “MarilynFilms.com is committed to showcasing independent filmmakers films’ as we believe they are an engine of creativity and innovation in filmmaking.”

Currently, films included on MarilyFilms.com are all short films that vary in genres from crime thrillers, suspense thrillers, zombie horrors, love and coming of age. Feature length films are in the process of being curated and are coming soon to the platform. “Indeed, we are going to have feature length films on the platform. Subscribers of our newsletter will be kept up to date with the progress of these releases,” adds Zandir.

WHAT WE DO

MarilynFilms.com aims to provide filmmakers with a certainty that they will have a marketable distribution platform for their film project(s) once they’re completed. Selection of independent films to be showcased on the platform is based on specific criteria, including, but not limited to, aesthetic creativity, relevance of story, among others.

“It’s a resounding platform that will provide independent filmmakers leverage  by combining the potential of monetization and a great audience reach,” concludes Zandir.

MarilynFilms.com is now officially launched with ten films, and one coming soon film, Before Honor, that can be pre-ordered.
